Joomla/wordpress preview (localhost)

    I have problem with preview panel in SM.
    I try to add the path but there is no output for the path.
    How can I see the index.php ?

    I use Easyphp as localhost.

    Hi,

    here's what you need to do.

    1. Load the page in a browser - not the php file but the local version of the site.
    2. copy the url from the address field
    3. In Style Master, in the Preview menu, choose Manage Preview documents.
    4. In the window which opens, click the Online tab, then paste the url in the field at the bottom, and clock Add URK
    5. Now click OK, and Style Master will use this URL as your preview document

    Hi John!

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I try as you wrote, but the result is a blank (totaly white background) in the preview panel...

    Hi Ati,

    that's better than nothing :-)

    If Style Master couldn't load the page at all there'd be an error message in that pane.

    Can you right click the pane, and edit the preview document in a text editor - there should be an option when you right click it to do that. Then we can see what is in that preview document

    Of course it's better then nothing.. :)

    Do you mean
    right click -> Edit HTML

    I can't use this,it is disabled when I right click on the panel...

    I'll need to install easy php and see what might be happening here.

    Anyone else having any luck with easyphp previews?
